This is not a stay but experience. Property is one of a kind and Martin is the most welcoming, charming, helpful, and amazing host you can imagine. Will definitely stay again when we come back to area.

"Such a welcoming and comfortable overnight stay."

Martin, the host was very welcoming. He prepared an excellent evening meal which we had pre booked over WhatsApp before we left Portugal. The breakfast was good too. All food was made from local produce. The room was comfortable and the terrace was an absolute bonus. Martin even phoned ahead to the Pharmacia to stay open as we had a medical need. Faultless service.

Unique place with a personal touch. Our kids loved the “hidden bedroom” with luminous painting. We stayed one night on our transit way from Madrid to Porto. Breakfast is served in the common area - if you like sharing meals with other guests, you will enjoy it. Parking is available onsite. Very calm area.

"We will be back!"

We booked a family room and our daughters loved the “magic room” painted by a local artist. Dinner prepared by Martin was fantastic, from fresh/local ingredients, and highly recommended. For children, there are two nice playgrounds close by. Easy parking, very clean, good communication, and cute small town with nice murals painted on buildings throughout.

"An exceptional little place"

Martin is an exceptional host, nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing and served on the terrace was a truly memorable experience. The accompanying wines were great too. Location wise was perfect for us to cycle into Salamanca and north to explore the beautiful countryside.

Only stayed 2 nights, wish it had been longer.
