The Wrea Head Hall Country House Hotel & Restaurant

This is a fabulous country retreat with amazing attentive staff, excellent food, drink and hospitality. We really cannot fault it. Our most recent visit coincided with a deluge of snow that ensured we were ‘snowed in!’ Rest assured there is no finer place than the Wrea Head Hall to be in this predicament! It created an amazing winter wonderland - that was certainly an added bonus. The staff went above and beyond to cater for us! The bedrooms are fabulous, restaurants and lounges also. Amazing food giving a level of service few places can get near. We can’t wait to return!

We had a super stay at wrea head ,we've been lots of times it's such a lovely place , all the staff are amazing very friendly,helpful and professional, always on hand to help ,the food is the best ever it's delicious and such choices , they really do a brilliant job .The location is perfect, peaceful yet near to Scarborough the grounds are stunning and so well cared for. The rooms are lovely so clean and comfortable the housekeeping team do a superb job .It's good value for money excellent service all round , everyone goes out of their way to make your stay special ,they all work so hard to achieve this ,so we can enjoy our stay ,it's our perfect place and we will continue to stay as guests whenever we can .

Fantastic hotel and an added bonus-NO DOGS ALLOWED( except guide dogs). We have stayed at this hotel several times now and although we live only 30 miles away, we always have enjoyed our time there. The staff are excellent, the accommodation perfect and the food is wonderful! Good value, great hotel and we will be back.

We held our annual Christmas Meet Up at the hotel. We sat in the library - what a fabulous room. Lovely staff and excellent food served. Christmas decorations were amazing!

Great location just outside Scarborough , very tranquil set back from the road in its own grounds good choice of breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff

We were in a cottage in the grounds and the bathroom smelt a bit of damp. Assume it’s not easy to ventilate.

Friendliness of all staff we dealt with was outstanding. In particular, Laura deserves a mention as she went out of her way to show us around the hotel and advise us on what was available in the locality. Food was very good and very well presented. Rooms were spotless (bedroom and public areas)
