Lily Bank Cottage

The location is really good. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try much food. The staff were excellent and very friendly. It was just my bad luck that there was a water cut when I visited, but they still arranged water for us.

There were no issues with the cottage; everything was well taken care of for us. There were some minor disturbances, but he managed them well.

Nice place and very clen room

这老板宰客，平台价5000，到店了他收税费500，我司机本地人，给他打电话4000，4500还有早餐，一到了当司机面还问我早点吃什么，等我司机走了收税费还说不提供早餐，可平台上的名字就是加早餐旅馆。。。无语，别人看不懂咱不管，中国人看到别去，地方不好，开车得下一个很大的斜坡还贼窄，第二天早晨我都是自己爬上去让司机在上面等我的。房间里灯很暗，浴室没热水。。避雷了属于是

Good property. Travel through steep roads to get to the property. Inside property it was good.

Hot water was a problem. WiFi was slow to a state it was unusable (sometime speed was 700 kbps)

Such a beautiful space! I spent a lot of time sitting outside the room drinking tea admiring the garden. The room was cozy, blankets, and the hosts were so helpful! Arranged my laundry and my ride to Ambewela Train Station. Really lovely, cozy space!

As much as I liked the property, I don’t think it’s suitable for solo female travelers (like me) as it gets very dark after 6:30pm and the homestay is a 15min walk up the mountain from the center. So I had to get a tuktuk and didn’t go out on my 2nd night.
