"Ons beste verblijf van Sri Lanka"

De eigenaars zijn zo vriendelijk en niets is te veel gevraagd. Je ziet dat als je als gars geniet van je verblijf, zij er enorm veel voldoening uit halen. Bij aankomst ook verwelkomt met een glaasje thee en koffie. De kamer is ruim, de douche was de beste die we hebben gehad. Gezellige in richting.

"Ruhig gelegen, abseits der Stadt"

Sehr schönes und geräumiges Zimmer 😊 Sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Ich hatte mich über eine Tuktuk-Fahrt zu den Teeplantagen informiert und einen sehr netten Fahrer mit gutem Preis bekommen, der im Anschluss dafür gesorgt hat, dass ich mit einem AC Bus Richtung Kandy komme. Dort bin ich bei einer Freundin des Gastgebers untergekommen, was ebenfalls ein Glücksgriff war!

"We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad!"

Super vriendelijke gastheer! Ontzettend schone kamers, fijne douche. Sfeervol aangekleed. Lekker ontbijt. Ons netste verblijf in Sri Lanka tot nu toe! We kregen zelfs hulp met het regelen voor de trein tickets, hij ging zelfs mee naar het station.

Super freundliche Gastgeber, alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt, super leckeres Abendessen.

Leider war die Luftfeuchtigkeit sehr hoch im Zimmer, daher fühlte sich alles feucht an.

Die Gastfamilie ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Dinner war sehr lecker und die Unterkunft ist liebevoll gestaltet. Das Zimmer war sauber, auch wenn das Zimmer etwas modrig roch. Das ist aber dem Klima dort geschuldet. Ich würde die Unterkunft definitiv wieder buchen.

Very pretty little courtyard. Comfortable bed, lovely staff

Make sure you ask for blankets and firewood. The street is very steep so be sure you are able to walk up as vehicles may not take you all the way

We had a lovely stay at Lily Bank Cottage last weekend! The room was spotlessly clean, warm, and very quiet – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept so well. The host was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy retreat!
