Super confortable on a adoré

breakfast was good and staff was nice ☺️

Bed wasn’t really comfortable and the bathroom had a weird smell. You hear everything what happens outside. But for what you pay it’s okay!

We enjoyed our stay at Lily Bank Cottage. The location is quiet and peaceful, around 2.5km from town. The cottage has a beautiful garden and a charming vintage aesthetic with wooden furniture and warm lighting. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. Bathroom was spotless and water pressure was good. The owner was kind and quickly helped us when we needed matches for the fireplace. The friendly dog was a lovely bonus !

However, the hot water system needs improvement as the temperature changes automatically and becomes too hot or cold. There were also no tea-making facilities or electric kettle in the room.

This place is a gem! Wow, wow, wow. The room is absolutely beautiful, you can tell so much care has been taken in the decor and layout. The bed is extremely comfortable and we loved the fireplace. We can absolutely recommend the dinner, which was served to us in our room as we were exhausted from travelling. The food is delicious! The hosts are also extremely kind and helpful.

The wifi didn’t work for us but that wasn’t too much of an issue.

Das Cottage ist sehr schön eingerichtet, die Familie ist super nett! Uns wurde ein Tuktuk Fahrer (Nishantha) vermittelt, der uns den ganzen Tag begleitet hat und sehr professionell und freundlich ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt!
