Beautiful room lovely area good local pubs nearby in Lowick which served very good food. Great host Jimmy, very helpful and enjoyed our chats.

Super location. Close enough to A1 for easy access but down a wquiet lane. Close to town centre. Close to parking area for beach. Excellent service. Dog friendly.access to Small fridge for milk and any food. 730 breakfast available (good for me as I had to go to work.

Breakfast choices were excellent and were served in a large, airy and well decorated Breakfast Room by our host, Jimmy. Our bedroom and separate (private) bathroom were comfortable and well appointed, and very much in keeping with the character and period of the farmhouse - nothing fancy, just honest to goodness nice taste. The bed was large and very comfortable.

We liked it all! But a guest WiFi connection would have been appreciated so that we could have downloaded our daily newspaper. Perhaps there was one, but if so we were not told about it.

Very large and comfortable room with exceptional en-suite. Quality of furniture and furnishings. Very comfortable bed. Fresh milk left in fridge on landing. Very good breakfast with fruit platter which was a nice touch. Owner was very friendly with lots of helpful local knowledge.

A light on the stairs needs to be left on when returning in the evenings.

Weather was very cold so room was very cold. We asked for a heater. Heating was reluctantly turned on for short periods.
