Full of character, well placed to explore the area, quiet location to relax after a busy day. Very helpful host.

Everything from the location, room and a most comfortable bed was exceptional. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. The hosts made you feel very welcome.

The house is stunning and set in beautiful grounds. There was a private lounge area for our use with a piano, sofas, table and chairs and games to play if we wanted to use it. Our bedroom also had a seating area with a tv and coffee table and the bed was very comfortable. Jimmy and his wife, Sam were lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. The property was very quiet even though it is just off the A1. The Lindesfarne Inn was minutes away; it did great food and the road to the causeway to Lindesfarne is next to it. The area is stunning - we went to Seahouses and went on 2 amazing serenity boat tours - the grey seals and the holy island tours. We saw the kelpies at Falkirk, saw the great scotland tapestry and walked the Flodden battlefield and went to Bamburgh Castle. Amble and Berwick. Didn’t want to leave!

It was a very authentic farmhouse with a nice character. Great location good host. Good breakfast

I enjoyed the stay, no issues

We found the owner and house very welcoming. The house was clean, comfortable furnished and well decorated, we felt relaxed and at home. Breakfast was very well cooked and our dog was made very welcome.
