Teardrop Cottage is a beautiful little apartment by the river Nidd on Knaresborough. The décor is well chosen and the bed is comfortable and good sized. The absolute treat is the hot tub. There is a patio area with views of the famous viaduct where you can soak in this luxurious hot tub. It is only a 5 minute walk from the train station although it is a steep walk along a cobbled avenue! I would highly recommend a stay here if you want a romantic break in beautiful Knaresborough. The host is incredibly welcoming and can tell you of local places to go and eat.

A wonderful cottage on the river bank. Luxuriously decorated with its own private hot tub. A wonderful romantic break in Knaresborough. The host was friendly and informative. The location was perfect. A 5 minute walk from the train station (although a steep, cobbled avenue) plus near to the river bank, town and tourist attractions. A perfect stay.

I have stayed here twice now. The first time in Dec 2024 and the second time last night. Both times have been amazing. The room was ready three hours early for us which was amazing. The rooms are comfortable and clean and have everything you need for a home away from home stay. Mike (owner) communicated really well prior to the stay and gave us lots of local information once we arrived. The location is perfect in our opinion - a short walk into the town centre, close to the train station and short walks to Mother Shipton’s Cave and Mother Shipton’s inn. Would definitely recommend and would stay again next time we visit Knaresborough.

Location perfect right by viaduct beautiful when lite at nite very quiet beds so comfy we had pink room which we found ideal for us

Unfortunatly the only outside area was being renovated and this was the main reason for me choosing the cottage so althought we had great time i would of cancelled if we had known this
