Teardrop Cottage

The location was great right by the river and the viaduct. Private parking next to accommodation. Room was lovely and clean. Outside terrace overlooking river was an added bonus

Location is perfect and pieceful on a night. Perfectly situated to amenities, architecture looks well incorporated with the contours of land.

The misleading information and patronising portrail on arrival. However not all experiences can be the same .

Mike is a fabulous host and Teardrop Cottage is gorgeous . Could not be in a more beautiful location right on the riverside . We could hear an owl at night ! We were 2 minutes from lovely cafes and the rowing boat hires. Beautifully decorated and relaxed accommodation . Stay here, you will love it!

Central location and handy for visiting the great Yorkshire show

Parking not easy at all especially with a larger car, only one small space at the property then it’s on street down very narrow road. Bathroom separate to room along corridor past other guests room. Not made clear at all so beware. Decked area spongy in places so hazardous. Main thing was host very abrupt bordering on rude did not feel welcome at all .
