Teardrop Cottage

Fab, fab, fab! The pink room was beautiful, with original artwork and lovely touches. The bed was super comfy, slept really well. Window could be opened however much you wanted for cool air, or closed for warmth. Very peaceful surroundings and very special.

The only thing I would recommend to fellow car travellers, is perhaps to study the map a little before you leave - and bear in mind you can only approach the cottage on Waterside from the end it is on (station / viaduct end). Apart from that, perfect! We managed to park no problem (it was a Sunday before the schools broke up).

The terrace was lovely, bed very comfortable.

The bathroom was across the corridor, .think you need to change the wording on your address...very misleading

Everything my stay here was absolutely superb!! And Mike the host was so welcoming and friendly, I will be back to try the hot tub suite next time!

Nothing everything was perfect!

The location is amazing. View from shared terrace is lovely. Parking at the side of the property was great. We had an early check-in. Mike was very helpful and brought us some chairs through so we could sit at the front of the property for the best view of the bed race. The little touches were brilliant, binoculars, games, books. Bottled water coffee tea hot chocolate, biscuits, and chocolate all replenished each day. Fan in room and docking station, blankets for use on the terrace. Use of iron and ironing board to name just a few. Jeanette ensured we didn't run out of anything and was very friendly and helpful.

If I wanted to be picky, I found the en-suit a bit small but perfectly adequate with modern furnishings and very clean.

There was no breakfast and I have already rated the location.

Basically, the room would have been an acceptable single rather than extremely cramped difficult to cope with double.

The location was spot on, right next to the river.

As it was an 300 year old cottage the floor squeaked which I would expect. The bed though everytime you moved it did squeak, the matress was very comfortable so I did not mind.
