"A pleasant stay for me, after a day in the saddle cycling it was the perfect place to relax."

The owners were very obliging, as I was cycling at an event I arrived late, the dining area was left open for me. There was no problem with me bringing my bike indoors as it is rather expensive and I didn't want to leave it outside in my car. Also the breakfast was fantastic.

"Lovely location and hosts."

The location is ideal for touring the Scottish border area and it’s only 30 miles or so to Edinburgh on the A68. You get a great welcome and the family owners are always friendly. The breakfast is nice and filling.

There is some road noise but nothing to worry about.

"A welcoming, comfortable place to stay as I explored Melrose and Gallashiels."

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was separate but I knew about that and it was for my sole use and just across the landing.
