"We had an excellent short stay & would definitely come again."

The room was excellent and of a large size. It has a small lounge area with a sofa as well as the bed area. Good size ensuite too. I could have stayed there for a week easily. I loved the bedroom's TV with built in DVD & the DVD library in the main lounge. The hand cooked & individual fried breakfast was one of the best I've tasted. Comfy, warm & inviting with huge amounts of character & charm plus excellent hosts.

Nothing I didn't like but perhaps a little sign (lit) off the main road for directions when trying to find the place in the dark.

"Ideally situated for a short drive into Southwold"

Very spacious room, (Southwold room) warm and very comfortable bed

Access to the surrounding park would have been nice for a morning stroll Some background music at breakfast would have made it feel more welcoming

Large, comfortable well equipped room in an interesting historical stable building. Breakfast was lovely quality with a nice choice. The guest lounge with an honesty bar was an added bonus. Welcoming and helpful owner

The shower cubicle is on the small size for the large bathroom!

"Lovely stay"

Our host was really friendly, the room (Minsmere) was massive. It had everything you could need such as an extra heater/fan, plenty of mirrors, fridge, smart TV etc. The whole property is characteristic with exposed beams and farm house features. Breakfast was yummy. If we return to the area we would stay here again, without a doubt.

"Lovely, comfortable stay with the kids in a great spot for visiting the Suffolk coast and a very hearty breakfast!"

Great big room to share with the kids. Very comfortable and exactly what we needed. Fantastic breakfast - what a treat.

Unfortunately the bath wasn’t clean, and area around it was a bit dusty. Didn’t really bother us but just a heads up. Might be nice to have some nicer toiletries in the bathroom but I’m being picky - it really didn’t impact my stay and for the the price it was really a great stay.
