The room was comfortable and extremely spacious, perfect for relaxing in after a busy day exploring the nearby coast. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The honesty bar was a little bonus.

Large room

The mattress was too soft so didn’t sleep well and woke with a bad back No proper shower-only a hand held one in the bath Nowhere comfortable to sit in the room

Lovely place to stay and very friendly and helpful owners/staff.

Just be mindful that it is quite remote and doesn’t do dinner and getting a taxi wasn’t straightforward! The blurb on the site is very transparent about this so it shouldn’t be a surprise.

Great breakfast, lovely room

We stayed at Henham Park B&B on Thursday 24 July as part of our Latitude Festival trip—and despite the torrential weather throwing our travel plans into chaos, one phone call to Alan changed everything. Alan didn’t just offer hospitality—he literally rescued us (and a fellow traveller) from the local station when our taxi failed, helped us gather overnight essentials, and personally ensured we got to the festival the next day. When the taxi firm let us down again on Saturday, Alan stepped in once more and drove us back to the station himself. The room itself was beautiful and the breakfast was yummy, but it was Alan’s kindness and all-round brilliance that turned a soggy start into the BEST weekend with my sister. We honestly can’t thank him enough. Alan, you are one in a million. Latitude is lucky to have such a gem of a place nearby—and we hope to be back next year for the full weekend!

Location

Not like photos, old vans and cars right outside main entrance, poor old furniture in room, bathroom very dated, bath taps not working properly, water scalding, no warning, carpet in the bathroom, dated toilet mat, bits and pieces make up the bathroom door large gap under the door and one side so no privacy, can’t walk around the estate which is false advertising, the place and surrounding buildings look unloved etc etc
