The Swan Inn, Letton, Near Hay on Wye

The property was located perfectly for us as we were using this as a base to a local event. Room's were a very good size along with the bathrooms. Good basic breakfast.

Friendly, helpful owner checked us in. Excellent room, clean and had everything we needed, great, quiet location. Had a great nights sleep, the breakfast was great, happy to recommend, and will possibly return to the Swan on our next visit to the area.

Nothing really, its just a shame so many pubs/inns are closing, it would have nice to have a drink after journey, I'm sure the owner would have supplied drinks, but we were the only ones there!

Clean, very comfortable, ideal location for us after a day in Hay and on route to Brecon. Host was friendly.

Great selection of breakfast with vegan options available, comfy bed and nearly no noise from the road at night. The staff very friendly and a great location.

Lots of potential, beautiful grounds could just do with a higher standard of housekeeping, the room was quite dusty, shower had black mildew and toilet bowl brownish marks and the towels didn't smell fresh. The entrance / front door to the guest rooms could do with de-weeding and maybe a couple of plants or flowers, all windows and windowsills need a good clean and bedding is a personal preference but the photos had white bedding and ours was busy and bright and unironed.

Excellent place to stay. The pub section was closed for the winter but it reopens end of March. The rooms are stunning and the views from windows are beautiful! I cannot wait to go back when it is warmer and enjoy the stunning landscape! No light pollution at night means the spectacular skyscape is stunning at night! Thank you so much for looking after me!

We received an email at 7 pm on the day before we due to stay at The Swan telling us that they were cancelling our stay due to a “ burst pipe” . After a lot of searching we managed to book another stay with booing.com
