Place was nice and clean food good, only thing the room we had was very noisy with I expect cooling fans running all night, so a bit tired next dax

good breakfast, decent location close to town. owners friendly and helpful. good traditional boozer. beer was nice.

entrance bit unitdy at the rear, loads of bags of rubbish. had an eaten chicken bone down the side of the bed from previous occupants. curtains bit scruffy not keeping the daylight out.

Staff were very nice. Free parking and location was great for walking into Aberdare.

Entrance to flats could be tidier.

The room was spacious, clean and tidy. I didn't stay for breakfast as I needed to be away early

One of the worst hotels we've stayed in! Where do I begin ... We weren't expecting much, just a 'bolt hole' to sleep in. The room itself was mostly as expected for the price, although the shower drain was completely blocked. And water overflowed into the bedroom if the shower was on longer than 2 minutes. Really didn't help when more than 1 person wanted a shower! It misleadingly mentions 'some rooms may hear some noise on Saturday nights. And this music will be on from 21:30 - 23:30. Firstly, this is false advertising. It should read :- EVERY ROOM WILL HEAR ABHORRENTLY LOUD NOISE. Also, it was on loud from 20:00 - 00:30am. We did ask the property to turn the music down, but nothing happened. Then when we finally got off to sleep, we came down for breakfast. My god, absolutely THE WORST breakfast that any of me or my 3 friends have had in our lives! The cheapest, nastiest ingredients, cooked so poorly that one of us ate it. Also the attitude of the server was appalling. She was clearly very stressed and understaffed. But she was very rude and short/snappy. Also the local town itself is an absolute dive. 80% of shops/restaurants all boarded up/closed down. Will never return to this area again.
