"Lovely place, convenient walk to centre of town, happily stay again"

Parking on site, walking distance to town, very convenient, clean and comfortable.

The steps could do with a better handrail, there is a tall narrow step into porch, wasn’t a problem but steep if not particularly mobile

The room was light and airy and the bed very comfortable - and a strong and reliable shower. Nice to have tea making facilities and the access to breakfast making facilities was a surprising bonus....plenty to choose from and a pleasant space to sit and eat it! And the location was good - close the town centre

The bathroom was small and quite cramped and it would have been useful to have a soap dish fixed to the wall of the shower.

It was easy to find a there was limited private parking but adequate for our needs. Breakfast was a buffet and it was self-service; again adequate for our needs. The room was clean and had all facilities required. The Irn Bru was a nice touch as I really like it.

I always prefer it if there are owners present to meet and greet. Also a cooked breakfast option served is preferable. The shower head holder did not lock so the head kept flopping down and you had to hold it. Some tape had been used to do a temporary repair but it did not work. The toilet cistern jammed open after a flush so the water ran constantly unless you operated the flush a few more times. There is no one on site to report this to.

It was in a good location 10min walk to centre of town

Never seen any staff members, but phone numbers are available to contact. Breakfast items are left out were poor

Incredibly good value for money, great location, lovely room and great unexpected continental breakfast. Room was clean, comfortable and lovely decor! Check in an checkout was simple and well communicated.

I know I am being petty every thing was great apart from the toilet roll cheap and nasty
