Arnold welcomes you with a drink and a map over Lamu, so helpful! The place is clean, Arnold very friendly and the breakfast is delicious. The rooms are fully equipped with everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend everyone going to Lamu to stay here!

The host is very nice and helpful. The room is spacious, and have a comfortable bed with a fan. The roof terrace is great. The breakfast was good.

There was a lot of noise in the morning from the neighbours.

Best place in town. We had such a great time. Arnold is so helpful and you can ask him everything. He has the best tips , what to do. The breakfast is really good and Fred is such a lovely person. Its in the middle of the town you can reach everything by walking. Should we come again to Kenya we would stay there again. Thanks for everything

I had an absolutely wonderful stay in Lamu! The location was incredibly accessible, making it easy to explore the area. Our host was fantastic — welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with any requests. The property was ideally situated near local amenities, so everything we needed was just a short walk away. Plus, there were so many activities to enjoy, from scenic walks around the island to boat rides and exploring the rich history of the area. It was truly a memorable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Lamu!

Best place in Lamu. When in Lamu don't stay anywhere else but here. Incredible place. Great Host, Clean Comfortable room and Excellent Breakfast. One of the best places in have stayed anywhere in the world. Arnold is simply awesome. Highly Highly recommended1

Arnold makes Jambo House incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The facilities are well kept and we appreciated the attention to cleanliness throughout the place. We enjoyed that we were right in the heart of Lamu town and could experience the hustle and bustle of daily life while also being a short motorbike or boat trip away to the more touristy areas like Shela and Manda beach.
