"Peaceful hotel in a great countryside location."

Great little place to stay, beautiful house and gardens. Room was very comfortable for my son and I, and we both really enjoyed the breakfast. Super warm welcome and great coffee, 100% would stay again.

Lovely house and surroundings full of character. Made very welcome by Helen who made us a cup of tea at the cosy fire. Spacious comfortable room. Great breakfast from the perfect hostess!

"Beautiful, friendly and quintessential Irish"

Helen and her family were so kind and welcoming! The surrounding grounds offer picturesque scenes straight out of the 1800s… an old mill, more stone building in need of repair, a river and walking path. Our room was lovely, clean, and well-stocked. Tea-time was a treat and the full Irish breakfast left us in awe. Just a fabulous stay, only sorry we had plans to leave the area after one night. Would have easily booked a longer stay.

The house and grounds are exceptional. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable clean and warm. The breakfast far exceeded all expectations! Delicious! And the host could not have been any more welcoming and friendly. We loved it all!

Thought shower would have benefitted from a shelf or shampoo/ shower gell holder. And possibly a second chair in bedroom.
