The view is awesome and the breakfast was excellent. A great location just out of the action, but still close to the centre of town. Easy and enjoyable walk along the railway tracks to reach transport and food.

The property was very clean. The owners were lovely and having the wonderful breakfast served on a balcony overlooking a waterfall and the famous train line was special. Walking in to Ella was a quick 10 minutes along the train line which was a quaint experience. We even did it in the dark on the way back and felt totally safe. The property was comfortable and there was a modern hot shower.

The fridge in the room didn’t work. Our vehicle couldn’t get down the last road/track to the property and so we had to hire a Tuk Tuk. Luckily one was there waiting and we took his number to take us and the luggage back up to our vehicle at the end of our stay. It wasn’t a problem but was just a bit of a surprise after a long journey when we arrived.

Large clean rooms Great views. Helpful and very kind host Great breakfast Washing machine available on request at no extra cost. Can walk to main town in 10 minutes via the railway line.

Property accessible for small cars / tuk tuk. Our bigger 8 seater van could not access the property. The host helped with shuttle service with his own car. Wifi was either not working or very weak. Facebook and messenger did not work. Could be blocked. We stayed 3 nights, only got hot water for shower 1 night. Water pressure very low.

Views from here are just insane, good breakfast and very welcome stuff. Road to the center takes about 10 minutes by walking on railways (both locals and tourists use this way)

The view over the waterfall was stunning. Breakfast was very good. An easy walk down the railway track to town, (10 minutes) and a40 minutes the other direction to the waterfalls.

Wished they had A/C, but we knew about that before booking.

Absolutely amazing! The view from the apartment is gorgeous. Room is spacious, clean and tidy. The owners are such a lovely people, helping with everything. Breakfast served on the terrace was the best we had in the whole Sri Lanka. Short walking distance from the centre. Highly recommended!

The most amazing thing is the view from the private terrace,, priceless! Also, the guest house is very private and we were alone in the whole place. The owners were friendly and useful. Location is also quite good as it's 15 minutes walking from Ella city center. Highly recommended!
