Vulkán Wellness Panzió

Although the room was very clean and the location was good, we encountered some problems there. The first issue was with the water; throughout our stay, it was consistently boiling hot with no warm or cold options, as shown in the picture below. Despite our complaint to the reception, they took no action to resolve it. The second problem arose with the accommodation charges. We had booked the room on booking.com for €101.34 but decided to pay upon arrival. However, we were unexpectedly charged €109.93, and the reason for the additional cost remains unclear.

Very helpfull staff at the recepcion. Calm place. Not far to the center - about 10minutes walking. There is nice small wellness in the penzion for extra charge. There is microwave oven with a bit of equipment for eating. Unfortunately that is all from possitives.

I stayed in appartment for 3/4 people under the roof. It is visible that the best years of this penzion are already gone and many parts needs reconstruction. There is microwave oven with a bit of equipment for eating, anyhow do not count with some real kitchenette and place for eating. One bedroom is really small and the other is on the way to the first one. Not devided by real door. Shower is not in separate room but in the hall so you are like in the window for all your fellows who go around... There is also bathroon with tub but plug is broken so it cannot be used. Toillet cannot be locked and there is sometimes troubles with flusher.

Clean rooms

When we arrived nobody send me messages about breakfast and other things in property. We had a problem with wifi.

After letting the staff smell the bad smell present in the room, they provided us a better room. That room was pretty comfortable so I can put a good comment on that.

Very rude owner!!! Other workers are somewhat better but their mentality is a bit concerning… The owner didn’t answer my messages so I called him. His first question was “what do you want?”… When I asked questions, he answered with a “check our website” and when I asked him if he could kindly send the link, he told me to Google it :( When I arrived at the hotel, the room was not so clean and it was smelly. While bringing the luggage, one of the workers told us that there is a better room available and showed us a very appealing room. She told us that they could give us that room only if we agreed to cancel the booking on the booking.com because they don’t need to pay the percentage in that way…. We refused the offer, but when we went back to the original room, we realised that the smell was unbearable so we let them experience it. At the end of the story, I’m happy because they gave us the better room anyway but I didn’t like their attitude.

It is great apartment. Very clean and cosy and very easy to find.
