Dinas Castle Inn (The Dragons Back)

Perfect location. lovely host and amenties all provided. Sandwiches were just what was needed after a long hike!

Abit dated in terms of the rooms and could have been a bit cleaner - but again, value for money so it was good for what we paid for

Handbasin was in the bedroom not the bathroom which made it a bit cramped.

Julie and her husband offer the warmest friendliest welcome to everyone. Very respectful, genuine, open hearted. Stunning location with beautiful views, great fish and chips, very comfy beds. Really hope to be back.

The location of the property was perfect for our walking break . The views around were stunning and although it was close to the road there was very little noise from passing traffic . The owner was great and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome . We ordered pretty well what we fancied for breakfast - omelette , scrambled egg on toast , full English . We didn’t eat there in the evening but the menu looked pretty good too. I would definitely go there again .

There wasn’t anything I really disliked . The bedroom was basic but had all essential amenities - wardrobe space , en-suite , kettle , tea , coffee . The beds were comfortable .

Amazing service from the friendly staff and great home made food.

Hosts were lovely and down to earth. Breakfast was spot on. Easy parking and location was perfect for us to do the dragons back hike.

Shower temperature and pressure was a bit temperamental.

Lovely old very dog friendly pub. Great friendly service & lovely local characters - what’s not to love 😊 Hearty home cooked food. Wholly enjoyed our visit.

Location, accommodation, and meals were all good, Julie and Ray were excellent hosts.

Very welcoming and comfortable dog friendly she loved the sausage at breakfast! Although I was late for breakfast very kindly made a brilliant full breakfast lovely area for walking and plenty for kids twenty mins away

Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Also had evening meals both nights....very good
