Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Good shower. Great location for getting around Durham.

the room was massive, super comfy and tidy, not a single grain of dust. staff very friendly and even though there is a pub downstairs you can’t ear a thing.

position is a bit off but there is a bus right in front of the house

Friendly, local pub with great breakfast.

Room 3 has a separate bathroom across the corridor.

Nice walk to the city center -- partly along the river -- or better even if you go over the hill via Old Durham Gardens.

Efficient check-in by staff, good briefing. Clean, spacious room. All facilities worked.

Main observation would be the standard of breakfast, if you enjoy a well cooked breakfast, this wouldn't tick any boxes. Raw tomato was a new experience for me, bacon barely cooked and eggs that were left in the pan too long. The room whilst comfortable and spacious could have benefitted from fresh paint, especially in the bathroom.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient for the event I was attending.
