The Pier Inn

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. Looked out over the harbour and could see Whitby Abbey in the distance. Shower was super powerful and bathroom was basic but very clean. Breakfast was included in the cost, nothing flashy, but the food was extremely tasty and plenty of it!

The room was above a very busy and lively pub. They have live music at the weekend which finishes quite late. It was very loud but didn't affect my friend and I as we just joined in with the fun! This fact was very clearly explained before we booked, so if you go to bed early and don't like loud music - this probably isn't the accommodation for you!

Was ideal location for visit to The Pavilion Theatre. Came back and finished off the night with a great band on. Also had some good food well recommended

Position and price were good and the breakfast was great.

Beds weren't great and the room was very basic.

The room looked tired & old, the bed was squeeky, the shower didn't work properly & one day the staff didn't clean the room despite the sign outside requesting it, car parking a mile away up the hill. disappointing.
