The Dundrum Inn B&B

Really enjoyed our night staying over. Enjoyed our breakfast nxt morning it was lovely. Staff were excellent whether it was in the bar or restaurant. Service was great. Had our meal in the bar that night which was lovely.

Nothing to do with the Dundrum Inn but its a pity Dundrum itself didnt have more in the town. More shops etc things to do.

Very clean and comfortable space. Very helpful and accommodating staff; I messed up my booking, and it they were able to fix it with no charge or hassle.

Location in the centre of the village, close to other restaurants

On a busy road so lots of traffic noise early in the morning.

We spent a night at the Dundrum Inn during a visit to NI friends and family. The room was great - nicely decorated, comfy bed - with some quirky details (including little record player with supply of LPs). Plenty of storage space (though unfortunately only 2 hangers in the large wardrobe). Good ensuite bathroom (shower). Breakfast (cooked) was super although service starting at 9am might have been a bit late for some folk (suited us on this occasion). Both staff members we met were very helpful and friendly - we certainly felt welcome. As we were on a "night off" between boozy reunions, we didn't take advantage of the bar or restaurant.

The Dundrum Inn was well situated for local amenities and our walks at Newcastle/Tullymore/Murlough. Easy on-street parking outside the Inn. The only drawbacks for this property were the traffic noise from the High Street (A2) and the light from the landing coming in through the frosted glass above the bedroom door. There was no noise from the pub/restaurant downstairs.

Very friendly staff who were very personable and extremely helpful. Friendly pub with great Guinness. Despite being on a road the is a great location - very close to the sea. Great restaurants in the village. Food was very good and the cooked breakfast was excellent, although perhaps too generous.

The restaurant wasn’t open all week. Central heating in the bedroom didn’t work but we had two heaters provided instead.
