"A lovely place to stay and a great base from which to do the Tongariro Alpine Crossing."

We stayed in the Boat House and it was exceptional. The room was big and light, the bed was comfortable and the facilities were good. The breakfast was healthy and tasty. On two days we ate breakfast on the patio overlooking the pretty garden. The hosts were very welcoming, informative and helpful. The shuttle to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing was smooth and easy. The lakeside for kayaking, swimming and paddling was just 100m away.

Super accueil et emplacement idéal ! Barb et Mike nous ont merveilleusement bien reçus. Ils ont été très serviables et attentionnés, et le petit déjeuner était délicieux et préparé avec soin. L’endroit est parfait, au bord du lac et directement sur la route menant au Tongariro National Park. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et le recommandons vivement !

"Beautiful place to stay"

Hosts were thoughtful and friendly. Accommodation and the garden were so pretty and spotless. We loved the peace and quiet of the setting. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was a wonderful bonus. Would highly recommend.

Barb und ihr Mann waren super freundlich und haben uns viele Tipps zur Freizeitgestaltung gegeben. Das Frühstück war lecker, alles sauber und ordentlich, Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Alle Betten waren mit Heizdecken ausgestattet. Großartig. Terrasse vor der Eingangstür, der See ist fußläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Top, gerne wieder
