The location was spectacular and so were the owners and staff!! Thank you. Ravi, the cook was just brilliant. Loved the food.

Although the price for the rooms was the same, each room was different. The bathrooms could use some deep cleaning or a renovation.

This was our second time staying at this property, and again, it didn't disappoint! It is still a treasure trove of peace and antiquity. It was always a delight returning to the shade and quietude of the property after a long, hot and often, exhausting day of touring Varanasi, as the property shelters you away from the noise, hustle and bustle. It still has a lovely and dedicated gate man guarding the property compound, which is only accessible via a locked gate, this adds security and peace of mind. The staff were absolutely lovely as always, I was shocked they recognised us after our previous stay 3 years ago, considering how many guests they must have hosted in between. I will always make this my go-to property when visiting Varanasi.

The location is excellent, quiet and an oasis in amidst the chaotic energy. The dinners and breakfast were excellent and the staff was super nice. The owner was not quite as friendly but overall I can imagine staying anywhere else in Varanasi. It was very safe and taken care of and the other guests were great.

Nos gustó absolutamente TODO! Este hotel merece una puntuación mucho más alta. Fue un grandísimo acierto reservarlo y ha hecho nuestra estancia en Varanasi muy especial. Es un remanso de paz en medio de la locura de Varanasi, literal. En una ciudad tan bulliciosa y ruidosa (especialmente durante el festival Shivaratri), en el hotel se respiraba una paz increíble! Tiene un patio que es una gozada y el recinto está cerrado y da mucha seguridad. Nunca tuvimos que esperar más de 2 minutos a que nos abrieran. El desayuno es local, cada día había algo diferente y todo riquísimo. Hemos ido un grupo de amigos y daba la sensación de que teníamos una casa rural prácticamente para nosotros. También hemos podido interactuar con otros huéspedes. La habitación también muy grande y cómoda, y limpia. Este hotel ha sido el highlight de nuestro viaje. Lo recomendamos 1000%

Location is very good with a very nice terrace with wide view to the Ganges River. The staff was very gentle all the time very helpful and providing useful information for city visits. Break was very tasty, diverse and abundant.

Homestay cuidado para poder alojarte y vivir la experiencia que te ofrece la ciudad. Las personas que trabajan en ella son maravillosas, tanto el cocinero, el chico que está en el alojamiento por si necesitas algo como tío y sobrino que abren la puerta del recinto (éste último no puede ser más amable y bueno, nos hubiéramos quedado con él todos los días solo hablando). La habitación es bonita, cuidada, con baños en piedra, agua caliente y básicos de higiene. La cama es cómoda. Desayuno a tu medida con lo que quieras (fruta, tortitas, crepes... cocinan fenomenal) Se encuentra ubicado muy cerca del Gath donde se celebra la ceremonia Arti por lo que se puede ir andando. Recomendable 100%.

Hay que pagar con efectivo, por lo que hay que calcular para poder llevarlo. Depende la hora a la que vayas al alojamiento, NO se puede llegar en coche. Hay que tenerlo en cuenta para saber llegar a pie (no es difícil) porque hay que andar como 1km. La dueña del alojamiento nos dijo que era extraño que no llegaran los taxis pero no es extraño, es habitual si no llegas muy pronto o muy tarde. En la página del alojamiento ofrecen un servicio de yoga y meditación, escribí antes de ir para ver si podíamos hacerlo pero a la llegada al alojamiento no nos lo ofrecieron (no pregunté pues estábamos solas en el alojamiento).
