Panchkote Raj Ganges

Good quiet secure location in the chaos and noise of Varanasi. Rooftop view of the Ganga and cricket next door on Sunday. Organised laundry and taxi to station for us. Food and breakfast was excellent. Evening meal good home cooking

Beds hard ! And the bathrooms need a little attention

The place is next to Ganges. Next to the property, there is a Kali temple which is along the Ghat. It has a huge open compound where you could go and sit beside the river. Amazing place

Access

Loved this hotel. Located very close to the ghats it was easy to walk to the ceremony in the evening. Large comfy room with air conditioning and hot water. Lovely breakfast although we were up too early the 2nd day to get it although the hotel cooked us omelettes and toast before leaving.

A little difficult to find for the taxis/autos and we needed a separate key for when returning late in the evening but not a problem for us.

This is the most beautiful place to stay, with lovely original architectural features and artwork decorating the space. It provides a welcome calm place to decompress after the hectic goings on in Varanasi, with lots of surrounding space that you can walk around in, sit and relax. Food is lovely too and the staff are kind and friendly.
