Very nice staff

Friendly staff, nice clean and nicely furnished room with an excellent shower. Great breakfast, lovely coffee.

A bit of noise from the road but that is to be expected, it's a busy area.

Not a fan of a bath in a bedroom. No mirror in our bedroom for when drying hair

We can't fault it. We were rather impressed with the value for money and the cleanliness of the property. The refrigerator in our room was a wonderful bonus for keeping drinks and snacks cold.

There was a bit of confusion about what time breakfast was served.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a large beer garden which we were able to use during our stay. Parking was available. Everywhere was clean despite it being an old building. The food was good and the breakfasts excellent.

This is an old building with associated challenges in refurbishment with stairs on different levels. The air conditioning was almost ineffective in 24 degree heat and opening the windows resulted in noise from the road. As with most hotel accommodation the bed was very firm, okay for me but less so for my husband!

Noise levels. Could clearly hear conversations outside and from other rooms.

The decor and style of the room was exceptional. Loved it! Great location within walking distance of the theatre

It was noisy being next to a main road but nothing earplugs wouldn’t have sorted.

Wow! excellent place to stay. Not bad for a place that is nearly 500 years old. The room was amazing, wooden beams in the room. Comfy bed and lots of history. Would strongly recommend staying here! Staff were also fantastically welcoming and made the stay the best place I have been for a long time

The only, very minor niggle, was that you had to leave the main accomodation block to go to the pub/restaurant. It would be nice if there was an internal door between the accomodation and the pub, but does not detract from how nice the Broad Leys is to stay at

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great. We also chose to eat at the pub during the evening. We found the food to be of good quality.

The room was very clean but could do with a lick of paint in certain areas, nothing major though. We stayed in Room 1 and had an issue with the plumbing in the bathroom. The cold tap in the shower ran hot and the hot tap ran cold.
