Everything was lovely But if you have a low car just be careful as you enter the driveway. The was a bit of a dip which broke the splitter on our car costing us £190

Very comfortable quiet room overlooking the garden. The location was great, away from the town bustle but a pleasant 10 minute walk along the roads or through the park. The breakfasts were great with plenty of choice.

Beautiful cottage, friendly, welcoming owners and staff, room was cleaned every day, plenty of storage for clothes. Bakewell is beautiful and the surrounding areas, lots of town parking.

Unfortunately there was evidence of a leak in the bedroom ceiling, which wasn't very nice to look at. The owner did mention it and had tried to paint over it, maybe a reduction in price could of been offered.

Rural setting , private , very well appointed

Walk up to property is steep and slippery

Closeness to the town of Bakewell so that you could walk Room was quiet and had everything you needed Breakfast was substantial and you had the opportunity to order exactly what you wanted

Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Very warm welcome on arrival and each morning at breakfast. Breakfast room was very cosy with beautifully set tables. Good choice of foods in the morning and well cooked.

We were very happy with everything. There was nothing to dislike for us.

Excellent accommodation. It's only a 10 min walk from town and has wonderful views. Very well kept and comfortable thanks to the owner lvan, who not only cooks a great breakfast but is also a helpful repository of information about the geography and history of the area. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely repeat the experience.

Apart from the outside appearance, not much. Property was lovely with woods and plenty of room to in garden.

Bed needed to be replaced, pillows dreadful. The springs in the bed ate into my back and hips. The staff weren’t friendly at all and we felt very uncomfortable when told we had to wait in our room for breakfast time, (after 9am!) mixed messages from one staff to another. Outside the only table we had (none in bedroom) to sit at was outside on top of roof up stairs, chairs were dirty. I would never recommend this place.

Everything was excellent. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The room was clean and comfortable Ivan the host was friendly and welcoming
