Cavell House Bed and Breakfast

This is the third time I’ve been to Cavell house and if I needed to go to the south west again I would be staying there. Consistently accommodating from an early breakfast to small touches and more, which shows how helpful the staff are and how they are as hosts.

Outdated, weird lay out in room. Continental breakfast which was brought to your room to eat (this should be included in the hotel’s description). Very disappointing.

Staff were welcoming and provided a lovely continental breakfast in our room. The family room was a very generous size and had a separate kids room with a second tv. 5 min walk from beautiful independent shops and restaurants.

The room was clean . But the property needs updated .Outside was messy and unkept. Staff friendly.

The property is really close to the centre of Clevedon and to the beach and pier. It was easy to walk about the town and since they also have parking it was easy to drive to explore the local area. The room was a good size and clean. The shower worked very well.

There was a funny smell in the main entrance area and staircase and in some of the corridors. The decor is quite dated, and they seemed to be having some difficulties both with the doorbell system and with their fire alarm - which went off 3 times in the middle of the night and early hours of the morning during my stay. This was not mentioned to me at all by the staff when they saw me or at my check out.

The smell in the foyer wasn't nice. Had trouble getting in the room manager found a spare key though
