Intrepid Bed & Breakfast

The host is a lovely guy as well as his two friendly cats. Very comfortable rooms and the food/coffee selection is generous, 10/10 would recommend!

Absolutely nothing. It was filthy; not fit for renting. We could not stay there because of the filth. It was unvaccumed; the shower had not been cleaned; towels from previous rentors were still in dryer, washer, and baskets. The general upkeep of the entire house was worse than poor. The tables were cluttered. The freezer door to the refrigerator had not been closed with ice build up which prevented the door from being closed. Towels were spread on the floor under and around the refrigerator to suck up the excess water. The front door had a 2” x5” exposed opening eliminating any privacy. The owner’s adjacent living quarters adjacent to our rooms were unlocked. One was also unable to lock the back door. In fact someone accessed our facility while we went out for dinner, leaving the back door open. The garbage cans were close to the house and smelled as if the trash had not been dumped in weeks. The driveway into the house was narrow and difficult to maneuver. The bushed along the driveway were uncut, extending into the driveway. The conditions were so bad that we had to get another, more expensive rental for the evening. Please remove this listing from your site as it will be equally unfair to the next unsuspecting guest. Zero communication. We asked for late check in 30 days in advance. We got no answer, just a confirmation. We arrived to just the back door open and had to assume where our room was. The house stunk of cat and there were several that will enter your room if the door isn’t shut properly (there is no lock on the door either). There might have been some breakfast facilities but the owner didn’t tell us anything in the morning. There were noodles that expired in 2019 though

The fact that there was no room waiting for us when we arrived was very disappointing. Had to find accommodations elsewhere which ended up costing us twice as much.

Breakfast consisted of eggs, bread, cereal all left out for you to prepare/cook yourself. Advert stated: 'Good breakfast", I would dispute that.

Didn't like the fact that the entire place was locked down by the time I got there, host had gone to bed and would not get up to open the door when I was banging on it.

The bed was clean

The TV didn't work The room smelled terrible The bathroom was filthy as was the rest of the property At 8 45am there still was no breakfast so left
