Ortigia D'aMare

The apartment is right on the beach, the building has an elevator. There is a large shower, several towels, hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo. Kitchen has kettle, Lavazza coffee capsules, fridge.

Parking is a bit complicated, we could not stop in front of the house on arrival because the parking lot was full. Since the apartment is on the beach, there are a lot of mosquitoes/bugs.

Nice small "apartment" made from half of bigger flat. Has all what is needed for 1-2 nights. Comfortable bed, incredible view and close distance to Ortigia. Area is quiet at night so you can sleep well.

Only downside were constuction work going on from two places: building next to apartment as well as pavement just below apartment starting early in the morning. Which didn't allow us to enjoy morning in bed ( even with closed window was quite noisy) or enjoy morning in bed witerrace above apartment.

10/10. Apartment is clean, bright and cozy, kitchen is well equipped, free parking, and 10 mins on foot, from Ortigia, which is full of small, incredible little alleys, architecture is breathtaking. Only wish we've booked atleast 3 nights instead of 2. We'll miss waking up to a lovely sunrise over dormant yachts.

We LOVED everything in this apartment, if you go to Syracuse you NEED to stay here - why: great location, great view, awesome hosts, easy parking (free) an amazing view from the terrace, comfortable bed, clean everything, nice kitchen and clean bathroom! I mean, just go there! This place is a real gem and I can’t even describe how happy we are! And the mornings are so beautiful - the sunrise is in front of your eyes when you wake up! Thank you to the hosts and we want to come back!!

Very neat and well located

Great view, good internet, good heating for winter, close to the historical center, friendly host with good recommendations

Everything was perfect. The view was great, and the house was clean. The landlord was very attentive. There is also a terrace; it was delightful to spend time there.

The apartment is cozy and the view from the window is just amazing. You can also go to the roof and admire the amazing view of Ortiga. The old island is about 10 minutes on foot. Emiliano and his wife are great hosts. They suggested us really good restaurants. Free parking is available.
