Uplands Garden

Everything! Attention to detail was impressive they thought of everything.The garden view was beautiful, sitting on the balcony with a nice glass of wine .

The hosts were kind, helpful and interesting. The accommodation is well designed, well furnished and modern but beautifully suited as an extension to a charming very well maintained and well decorated period property. The balcony looks out onto the lovely, peaceful, very skilfully planted garden and there is a good degree of privacy for guests. The location is wonderful with views to Golden Cap from the front and glimpses from the rear to the coast including Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Local walks are excellent. A short stroll brings you to the heathland at the top of Hardown Hill. The guest fridge and outside washing and drying area are most useful. The breakfasts are delicious and attractively presented.

Stunning location and room. Hosts Helen and Simon are lovely and cook a fantastic breakfast. Helen even gave us a lift to a local wedding- thank you so much. Would definitely book again.

It was clean and comfortable. We were both able to relax on the balcony overlooking the garden. Helen and Simon were lovely hosts. The breakfast was delicious and just right.

Lovely room with a veranda to sit out on and fantastic views. Helen and Simon were great and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast was the highlight,outstanding 😋

There was nothing I didn’t like but if my stay had been longer I might have started to miss a television.

Helen and Simon were fantastic hosts, very friendly and welcoming. The newly built accommodation was very modern, extremely clean, comfortable in a quaint and quiet location with fabulous views from the lovely garden. Breakfast was one of the best we have had, no exaggeration, but if a full English (Dorset) fried breakfast could be described as healthy, this is it! Apart from this, there is a variety to choose from and all just perfect. So to sum up, Uplands Garden is a highly recommended place to stay in Dorset. You'll be pushed to find better.
