Beautiful house and gardens , staff were lovely

We had a room with a shared bathroom. I think there could have been some touches that made this experience more pleasant. The used bars of soap in the bedroom and bathroom weren’t great. Towel on floor soaking up the drips from different people. 1 hand towel in shared bathroom, these things werent pleasant. No locks on doors wasn’t ideal either .

The view from the breakfast room and lounge is breathtaking. The chance of having a real fire in the lounge helps the whole atmosphere of comfort.
