Very welcoming host!

The location was amazing - it is near to the center and they will call a moto-taxi to get you down or up from their house. The breakfast was delicious - hot chocolate and a traditional Oaxacan breakfast (the tamales were wonderful). Overall, everything was very comfortable and safe. I learned so much chatting with the whole family and they helped with anything I needed.

Everything was exactly as described

I loved the experience of living with a family of artisans, experiencing their way of life. This is a home stay experience. the tapestries are made on site. the family lives a simple life with all of the modern comforts. This is not a hotel and should not be judged based on amenities offered which there are plenty - electricity, hot water, good internet.

there are no fans which can make the heat difficult.

Wonderful experience with a very friendly family!

Friendly hosts, unique location and experience, delicious food, we absolutely loved it and would thoroughly recommend.

The room was cozy, a comfortable bed and you have your own little space with a hammock and table outside the room. The bathroom is just next to the room. Everybody is very nice and helpful at Lizu. I tried many local dishes which was s great experience. there is also a workshop so you can buy some rugs or other souvenirs directly from them. There is no noice at night so you will be able to sleep very well. Around the village there are some good walks:)

I felt like I was staying with family. They welcomed us with open arms. It was still remotely close to the center but not in the hustle and bustle. It was very clean and comfortable.

The family were extremely friendly and kind. They provided a vegetarian dinner and vegetarian breakfast the next morning. They showed us the family weaving business set up in the courtyard which was very interesting.

It was a bit tricky finding the way to the shared bathroom across the courtyard at night, but we coped!
