Le Thikana Heritage à Jodhpur est un magnifique haveli historique plein de charme et d’authenticité au coeur de la ville bleue. Dès l’arrivée, on est séduits par l’atmosphère paisible des lieux et surtout par la vue imprenable sur le fort de Mehrangarh, un vrai décor de carte postale. Nous avions pris les chambres standards et c'est déjà tres confortable, et très cosy. L'eau chaude marche très bien. La cuisine est tout simplement exquise, avec des plats savoureux et raffinés. Un vrai régal après une journée à explorer la ville. Les propriétaires et sa femme sont adorables, attentionnés et toujours disponibles. Ils nous ont donné de précieux conseils pour organiser notre séjour à Jodhpur et ont également pris le temps de nous aider à préparer notre départ vers la prochaine destination. On se sent accueillis comme des invités, pas comme de simples clients. Une adresse chaleureuse et élégante que je recommande sans hésiter.

We stayed at The Thikana Heritage in the heart of Jodhpur’s old Blue City, and it was an unforgettable experience! The property itself is a beautifully restored historic haveli with character — you instantly feel like you’ve stepped back in time yet with all the modern comforts you need. The room was spotless, comfortable, and tastefully styled with traditional touches. The rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views of Mehrangarh Fort and was the perfect place for breakfast each morning. Most of all, the hosts treated us like family — warm, friendly, and always ready with tips on what to see and do in Jodhpur. They even helped with local insights and arrangements that made exploring easy and enjoyable. Everything from the cleanliness to the location, hospitality, and heritage ambiance was outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a special and personal stay in Jodhpur!

Beautiful old building, nice to stay inside the blue city, shower got hot enough, room is decent size, secure

This should not be a hotel the location is far too loud you will not sleep do not stay here, room is very dark and the windows do not let light in if you want light you have to open the windows (no screens so more bugs) and the sound is even louder, there is a public gathering space just outside the hotel, locals park their motorbikes just outside the hotel so people are driving, parking, revving engines, talking, playing music and making noise ALL night, it was horrible, the woman owner seems empowered which I like but she oddly tried to take pillows and a towel away from my double bed (which I had booked as a double room), fortunately you CAN turn off the hideous blue lights if you don't want your room to feel like a club, don't know why they pencil scribbled "hand soap" all over the bathroom but couldn't be bothered to label any of the 20+ light switches, they kill the electricity during the day so you can't leave the fan on, the room was very dusty and I have no idea if the TV worked it was covered in plastic, the shower does get hot but finding a hot/cold temp balance is tricky and by the time you find it you have run out of hot water, rooftop has an okay view but it is not developed at all, just one broken chair and concrete, it's a quick walk to the back of the fort but you still have to walk all the away around the fort to the main entrance to buy a ticket

Hotel położony w historycznym, niebieskim centrum miasta z widokiem na fort. Jest to 300 letnia kamienica, która jest pięknie wystylizowana. Właściciele bardzo mili i pomocni. Smaczne śniadania na dachu z widokiem na fort.

Byliśmy w styczniu i temperatury wtedy w Radżastanie są niskie. Pokój niestety nie jest ogrzewany. Właścicielka dała nam dodatkowy koc, więc nie było źle. Piszę o tym, ponieważ trzeba być przygotowanym na chłodniejsze noce.
