Good location for the train station, airport bus and old town. Room was clean, bed comfy and Air con worked well.

You are basically staying in someone's apartment on the 8th floor of a tower block, not a B&B in the regular sense. Felt awkward and unwelcome, We didn't stay for breakfast and it was hard enough just to make ourselves coffee (with our own coffee) with the owner hovering over me in the kitchen insisting breakfast was later. Doesn't have all the many facilities advertised (no private pool, hot tub, roof terrace, balcony, etc!) and is only one shared bathroom for all guests and the family (not mentionned in description). Was fine for a one night stay before flying next day but there are other nicer places in Catania if you are staying longer.

the reservation was made for three people, but the bedding was only provided for two people.

The location was great, it's right next to the bus and train stations. It's also close to the city centre. We had AC and breakfast, the apartment was clean. The hosts were nice

There were a lot of sketchy people in the neighbourhood at night. Nothing ever happend, but we didn't feel comfortable walking there at night (2 girls, so lots of catcalling). Unfortunately we had bedbugs in our bed

IT IS A SHARED BATHROOM. It did not say that on booking and the price was that of a hotel. Host was nice, but they have false advertisement. I feel scamed

We pay extra money for rooftop whirlpool and an owner didn’t want to let go on rooftop. And a breakfast is the only long shelf life of baked goods.

I booked a room for one night. In the description it said that I could check in until 9.30pm. I informed the owner of the bnb in advance that I would be there at 9.15pm. Instead of showing understanding for a possible delay due to public transport, the owner threatened to charge me 15 euros if I arrived after that time. What a warm welcome! When I arrived at the foot of the building, there was nobody there to welcome me. The owner pressured me to arrive before 9.30pm and in the end he wasn't there. I'm a person travelling alone in a foreign country. I'm sure you can understand how dangerous that can be. That's why I didn't want to stay out alone. The owner left the keys with a kebab vendor. It was difficult to find the address of the kebab shop. The flat is on the 8th floor of a block of flats. The owner was not there to welcome me and check in at the scheduled time. He arrived later. During the night, you could hear the front door slamming and people talking loudly. It was hard to rest with such soundproofing. In the morning, the owner didn't bother to offer me a coffee when I left. In short, the owner has no patience or sense of welcome, which is deplorable. Avoid it!

The location, super clean, big nicely decorated rooms, great view. Actually when you see the surrounding area you may think it is less nicer, but on the contrary it is very cool. And the hosts are very nice.

Everything is good. Except that it could have one more bathroom or at least a WC, but that is also not a problem in general. There is air conditioning as well.
