Sigiriya Free View Tree House & Villa

Excellent 3 night stay. Very comfortable accommodation, great dinner and breakfasts. Close to all the restaurants and attractions. The most loveliest family hosts. We took their safari and was blown away with the amount of elephants seen, so close. Rowan was very knowledgeable and respectful of the animals.

The room was clean, spacious and had all the basic necessities. Shower was warm and the air con was efficient. Beds were really comfy too! We were greeted with fresh pineapple juice on arrival which was a lovely touch. The included breakfasts were tasty, local Sri Lankan dishes and made fresh for when required. The location was perfect - a quiet area for getting sleep but only a 10minute walk to the main area with restaurants and bars (there are some even closer literally one minute away if you don’t want to walk to the busier area). The family who run this business are lovely, Rohan drove us to Lion rock and we booked our safari through them. Rohan gave us lots of recommendations about what we could do without being pushy to book anything. Nothing was too much trouble for him to organise. The elephant safari was a fantastic experience, Rohan was a safari tour guide before having the hotel so he is very knowledgable and we always felt that the elephants welfare was a priority. We would recommend the safari with Rohan to anyone thinking of making this trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Rohan and his family were great hosts. Rohan offers safari trips which I would recommend doing. He has a great passion and knowledge for elephants and excellent English to answer any questions you might have. The villa was a in good location near restaurants.

Garden was nice. Hot water available. Close to local restaurants and Lion Rock entryway.

We had an incredible stay. The tree house is lovely and you hear the animals around the house. We also did a safari with Rohan and it was amazing. Would really recommend staying here!

The safari with the owner was great! The treehouse was fine and the food was good.

Nice rooms, nice owners, fantastic safari and very helpful in terms of Transfers from the Airport orto other cities.

Near to bars and restaurants. Clean and nice area to sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet. The staff went above and beyond. Rohan ran us to Lion’s rock and into town when it was pouring down. He also took on safari and made sure we saw lots of elephants taking us away from the other jeeps. Fridge and mini bar handy.

A safe in the room would have made it even better.

Awesome stay in Sigiriya. Very child friendly, our little son loved to play with their kids. He is really helpful and did an Elefantsafari with us. One of the best so far, he told us a lot of information about them and drove really carefuly because of our son. Also he got up at five the morning after to drive us to the entrance for climbing Pidurangala. Defintily would recommend to stay there. Thank you for everything
