Sigiriya Free View Tree House & Villa

Large and clean room, mini fridge, central but quiet location. Tasty homemade breakfast

Owner was a bit pushy to get us into booking a safari tour with him, at the same time bad mouthing our already booked safari at another destination in Sri Lanka.

It was a wonderful place to stay, right in the heart of nature. Naturally, this meant we occasionally had visits from small insects, but that's to be expected when you’re surrounded by such a beautiful environment. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of well-cooked, traditional food prepared by the host lady. Dinner was also fantastic. The host was very friendly, and we went on a safari with him. We paid a very reasonable price for it, and it was quite comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

Rohan and his wifi are hospitile. They help you with all of your questions. Hé is also a safari driver so its easy and cheap to go and spot some elephants. The tree house is very beautiful and clean. These people work very hard to help you with anything and They bring you everywhere.

I loved staying there! The room was spotless and had a mini fridge already stocked with beer and other drinks. Even the glass was in the fridge—how thoughtful! What I loved most, though, was the genuine kindness of the owners. There were no hidden fees, and when he said, “I’m going to take you around,” he truly did it out of the kindness of his heart. I 100% recommend staying here.

Rohan and Prasadini made everything to make our stay perfect. They are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The treehouse was an adventure for us and Prasadini’s homemade breakfast was delicious. The safari with Rohan was absolutely amazing! We have seen so many elephants, even 2 babies and so close. He is the best, so friendly and more than 10 years experience. I stayed 3 nights at this lovely family in the tree house. The room was very clean, breakfast was good and the family are really nice people that are always willing to help to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Rohan also took me on a safari which was amazing, through his experience and connection he knew exactly where the elephants would be. If I come again to Sigiriya I will for sure stay at this place again.

Nothing. If you like to be in nature, like to hear the sounds of the jungle at night and like to feel the warmth of the people and are not looking for luxury like in resorts, this is the perfect place.
