Guruge villa

The host was amazing.

But there were not too many people in the hostel (only one other person during my two nights there).

Good location surrounded by nature. The owner is so helpful and friendly. He helped me to find my credit card that I lost and showed me around and explained to me all the plants in his garden. The beds are very comfortable and we can use the kitchen what is very useful. I will come back for sure

Fantastic amazing stay with a charming owner

The owner is the loveliest man, very helpful and spent time chilling / chatting with the guests in the evenings. He even took us on a tour around the surrounding gardens to see all the herbs/plants! It was a good location, walkable to the beach, and very friendly, family/homestay vibes! would recommend! Thanks Guruge! :-)

Immersed in nature, is a calm and enjoyable hostel.The hostel owner is the kindest person alive and he will support you in everything. Don't miss the tour of all the plants in his garden!!

Guruge is the most genuine, welcoming and helpful host I had in my time in Sri Lanka. The hostel is basically located in his house and he makes sure to take you as part of the family for the time you’re in Hikkaduwa. The place is located centrally, 10 minutes walking to the beach, train and bus station but is still very peaceful. Guruge garden is beautiful and you’ll have chance to see animals. The house is clean and comfortable and he even cooked a delicious dinner on my arrival! I will definitely go back. Thank you Guruge.
