Riad Nelia

Excellent stay, food and service. We were here for 3 nights and I already want to come back. Special mention to Saad, Mouna, and Samir for their exceptional hospitality and making the riad feel like home. We didn’t have to take a single taxi because of its great location, and were served a really wholesome breakfast every morning. Pro tip - take some time to sit on the rooftop on a clear night, it truly feels magical!

Nothing perfect

The meals are excellent and so is the massage.

There is no elevator and the eating area is at the top and not covered for rain and wind.

Loved to come back and generally very lovely staff. And most of all a great hammam treatment for both of us by two superb women in the new Nelia spa. And nice to eat dinners on the terrace. And breakfast was great as before and even a bit better at Nelia Signature. Also love the design of the whole properties. However, we had requested a quiet room location and have never had such a noisy room in any riad. And we have been a lot in Marrakech. So we addressed this and after 2 nights without a good sleep the hotel transferred us to a beautiful room at the signature riad. It was absolutely beautiful and a very nice gesture. However, we had a lot of bed bug bites in that room all over our neck and back and stomach. Really bad. We told the reception they should address this to the manager and owner and the receptionist was very nice but I am astonished that we have not been contacted by the hotel manager nor offered any discount on a potential return or anything similar. We had to treat all our items carefully at the return and the whole thing has been extremely difficult and inconvenient. So, all in all, this was our so much wanted return to Nelia after a great stay last time. Staff were nicer in general last time. It all felt more genuine and caring. Except for hammam staff and two staff at Nelia Signature and the night waiter at Nelia at arrival, who were wonderful this time, we are all in all actually disappointed. The kindness and caring environment was a bit gone. Especially one staff member, a guy at Nelia signature, made us wait a lot of time both at check in but also in general. He was not respectful and paid all attention yo good looking, young girls from the US instead. Not professional and not kind. But the other staff person who was there was absolutely great and made evening meals for us and helped with a big smile at all times.

Very friendly, helpful, and attentive staff accommodating to every need. However, we were inconvenienced by a problem with being able to pay with card and had to pay with cash in the end.
