Hanover House Bed and Breakfast

The property is only around 10 mins walking distance to the fall. The room is spacious and has free parking. The hostess is very friendly and hospital, and the breakfast is delicious, with fresh veggies, omelette, coffe, and toasted bread.

Beautiful, Charming house steps from the river. The host, Kim, is a polite, gracious host; full of information about the area and, all in all a very pleasant person to converse with. She was a jewel in our vacation. Super breakfasts set the stage for long days of exploring. Thanks so much Kim for making our time there so comfortable!

The facility is run down and pictures don’t reflect true condition. There was an ant infestation in room where we stayed and there was a general damp feeling that was uncomfortable. Food was decent though simple requests (ketchup, remove an item) met with resistance by host for some reason. Victorian home has potential but would not recommend.

Breakfast was very good. Location was excellent and within walking distance of Niagara Falls Parks, as well as the casino. Staff was very friendly and eager to meet our needs.

Parking was a little tight as we drove a full size SUV vehicle.

Hostess was nice although not very accommodating.

Inn grounds were unkempt. House was not very clean. Lower level had a strong, mildew smell that burns your lungs. Ceiling in living room had obvious long standing waster issue and dripped on our coffee table while people were showering upstairs. Downstairs there was no way to open any windows to get fresh air. One room had ant problem. The pictures used to advertise were obviously from long ago. It was grossly over-priced and vastly under l-delivered. Would not recommend.

Location was great. The house, however, really can use some updating. Understood it's a 100 year old house, thats charming and all, but the online pics give a greater sense of curb appeal, while in reality the house stands a bit on the "creepy" side.

This was a very unique experience. The house is over 100 years old and has many antiques. Kim was great as the manger and is an excellent cook! Very friendly!

Kim, our host, made us a great breakfast every day. Her attitude and concern for our comfort was was one of the best parts of our stay. Location was also great as it was near the Falls, downtown and just blocks from the casino. Good onsite parking too. Safe area.

We like to unwind by watching television. However, all tvs only have internet access, so YouTube videos were what we watched in the evenings. Kind of boring. Lol After we checked in and were showed to.our room, we were informed that the bathtub was inoperable. That was one reason we booked this particular room so felt the rate should have been reduced to what the room rates are with no bathtubs. Finally the house is old so only window ac in rooms and no ac downstairs. A little stuffy.
