Point Breeze Guest House

Very friendly staff, answered all my (long) questions and very flexible (I needed a late checkout). The neighborhood is gorgeous and well served by public transportation. Large room, and a very smooth operation - I practically didn't see anyone and got all I needed. Highly recommended.

Sound travels a bit too well in this old houses. there was some loud conversation in my last night at the place until late hours. I could have said something and I didn't, so it is on me.

a tidy and comfortable suite in Point Breeze which is centrally located to various colorful neighborhoods as well as Oakland, where there are several museums, as well as Downtown. my host bent over backwards to be helpful.

the shower is a bit cramped, and broadening the kitchen a bit to include a toaster or even a hot plate would make longer stays more enjoyable.

Host was very accommodating of our needs, and extremely quick to respond to questions in the app.

The host was exceptional! Great communication prior to and during my stay. The kitchenette was well appointed and enough for breakfast (which the host ensured was available for me in the morning by having fruit, cereal, oatmeal,milk, coffee and tea options. Be sure to read the messages that are sent. I missed a couple where I was asked what I wanted in my room. Bed was comfortable and host made sure there were extra portable radiators because of the frigid weather. Location was perfect. Close to Chatham University. Restaurants within 2 mile radius. Uber rides available late night and early morning. When I return to Pittsburgh, I plan to stay here. Cannot complement the host enough!

The shower was a little tight but not a huge issue. Just need to be aware.

A charming house, clean, quiet. Good location for our visit to our relatives in Pittsburgh. Traffic in the area wasn't bad. Had to park on the street but could find a space within 50 yards. The neighborhood was attractive and fairly quiet.
