A charming house, clean, quiet. Good location for our visit to our relatives in Pittsburgh. Traffic in the area wasn't bad. Had to park on the street but could find a space within 50 yards. The neighborhood was attractive and fairly quiet.

Very friendly staff. Great location, lots of public transport, direct bus from the airport. Clean room with everything. Amazing service, beyond what I expected! There was a small kitchenette in the room, with tea, coffee, and fresh fruits even.

Building is a bit old, sound insulation wasn't great. Other guests could be heard coming and going. It wasn't too bad, they were reasonably quiet. I hope I myself wasn't making much noise either.

The bed was really comfortable, the room was nice. Host/manager was very friendly and responsive.

Breakfast was meh - instant oatmeal, fruit, and K cup coffee with our choice of milk. The only thing I really didn't like was that the bathroom sink had a wide open drain so things could fall in there. Not a big problem!

The neighborhood

I was in the attic space which would have been ok, but the mattress was dirty, the toilet needed a cleaning and it was a little creepy.

Location, friendliness of staff. The room was cute and access to coffee, tea, fruit and cereal.

The bed was very noisy and uncomfortable. It made a lot of noise every time someone turned over.

The accommodation is wonderful, inviting, clean, secure. the homes around it are not as presentable. I liked the location being close to Bakery Square.

It was not convenient to my place of business. That obviously cannot be helped by the owner!

I expected we would have hot water in our bathroom, but we rarely did. Once in the morning my husband managed to get some after letting it run for 15 minutes, but when I went to clean up it was cold. We never could take a shower. We had to shower at our granddaughter's apartment finally, giving up on this apartment. One time, after the owner promised they would come and fix the problem, hot water came on at midnight, as we were going to bed. Not helpful or useful. Very bad experience.

Simple, but adequate.

Mainly just the shower situation. It leaks, half the water is running down the wall on to a cracked caulk line, and may be getting inside the wall. curtain is too small, sticks to you, and water gets outside .
