Point Breeze Guest House

The breakfast was a continental in your own suite. But Nicholas made sure we had fresh fruit and any type of milk that we needed. The location was in Shadyside which was perfect to visit our child.

The shower was a little wonky. Instead of being at one end of the tub, it was in the middle so you had to be careful water did not spray out onto the floor.

The neighborhood is safe and the room was clean but had no soap and toilet paper upon arrival. I had street parking and the property manager was very cordial and helpful. a couple of neighborhood restaurants within walking distance.

PROPERTY MANAGER that lives in the property whom I met during check in, WOKE ME UP AT 2am because he WAS TALKING ON THE PHONE, BANGING THE WALLS AND FALLING ON THE FLOOR. then, HE BURST INTO MY ROOM at 3am, since he knew the code to unlock it. (I was alone in my room and I'm a female) When I yelled at him he apologized with a drunken slur and left. When I called the owner later in the morning and he promised me to financially compensate me for this and assured me that he'll do his best the make it safe for me for the remaining 2 nights. Nothing had changed in the 2nd night but he did install a hotel safe lock before my 3rd and final night. This incident, unfortunately, affected my weekend stay in Pittsburgh. The room, otherwise has an old charm and is in a safe neighborhood. The property owner did refund part of the fee as we agreed on, after what might have been a misunderstanding that got resolved by Booking.com Customer Service staff.

Facilities and rooms are nice and as advertised

The breakfast that we thought would be included with the room is disappointing and very minimal, with some fruits and prepackaged oatmeal. We were told there would be milk but were not given any.

Stayed in the garden suite. The bed was comfortable and there was balcony which was nice to keep the door open for fresh air. The spa tub could be bigger. But overall was very satisfied with our stay there.

Parking

The location relative to Pittsburgh sites such as the Frick. The attic suite and good cooling. On-site staff added a personal touch. Parking was convenient.

The exterior, entrance doors, and banister need attention. Foam mattress was compressed in spots.

The location was perfect for our visit to the Frick Museum. Our resident host was wonderful!

Breakfast was a little on the basic side.

The gentleman was very nice and helpful.
