Roundhouse Guesthouse

Massive pleasure to stay here. Will certainly stay again if I return to Franschoek. Owners are absolutely lovely, on hand to help with anything. Value for money is unbelievable, particularly with the great breakfasts. Location is also brilliant and a 5 minute walk to the restaurants, and the property itself is very unique. I could go on for ages. But this was truly a perfect stay.

Debbie and Lee were great hosts. The place was lovely, safe and relaxing. They served a fresh and varied breakfast. All in all, excellent.

Traditional cottages, only 2 rooms so you feel secluded as only 2 other guests (if you see them). Relax in the swimming pool watching the birds

Ok so it is close to the road however, the birdsong woke us before any road noise

We loved our short stay at Debbie and Lee’s Rondavel. A very quirky round room which was extremely comfortable and the bed and bedding was superb! Breakfast at the pool house was delicious and a good choice of fruit and cooked food. This place offers total privacy and seclusion and yet easy walking distance to the restaurants and shops in Franschoek.

There is nothing to complain about.

Lovely room, spacious and clean with a large bathroom. Plenty of options for breakfast overlooking the pool and feeders watching the stunning birds enjoy their sweet treats. A short walk into town and a short taxi ride to the Wine Tram. Appreciated Debbie's warm welcome and hospitality.

Debbie, Lee and Jennine were fantastic. It is perfectly located. The breakfast was phenomenal. The rooms are super comfortable. This is a hidden gem. Don't miss out.

Lovely unique place to stay. All the facilities were really good, breakfast was perfect by the pool area and they have dog biscuits in each guesthouse to give to their 2 dogs, Tia and Bailey🤗🐶pool was lovely and we were given towels to use by the pool area. It's about 10min safe and beautiful walk into the main area of Franshoek restaurants and wine farms. I was also able to have my uncle and aunt visit for the day and paid a bit extra to accommodate them for breakfast.

Roundhouse bigger than expected. Very large bathroom. Great shower. Debbie very helpful offered advice. Places to eat and best winerys to visit. The pool was great.

Very nice host, great breakfast, big room, great quiet (and safe) location but still very close to restaurants and bars.
