Roundhouse Guesthouse

Owner very accommodating..Close to restraunts/ museum .My partner's family were one of the original french huginos that landed on boat in 17hundreds .She loved to see the cart they used in museum...We had gone on 27th Dec 2024 as her birthday...Coming down the pass ( hills ) to the town .view out of this world ..

Weren't able to spend more time there ...There was no info on roads of town to say when parking must face the way of flow of traffic so you could end with parking ticket ..( restraunt guy told us)

Breakfast was excellent, Debbie looked after my wife and I very well.

Quaint and unusual but very functional.

Slightly further from town centre than some people would be happy walking. But we felt very safe to walk the 15 minutes (half mile).

The breakfasts were superb. Lovely choice and delicious. The host and hostess were very pleasant. Location is great, within a quick walk into the centre of the town.

We felt the accommodation was quite basic, for the rate we paid. It did, however, have what one needed: a large comfortable bed, nice bathroom with shower, bar fridge and tea making facilities. Wifi is however not great.

Lovely rooms, comfortable bed. Lee and Debbie and Jeanine were all very friendly and welcoming during our stay. Lovely atmosphere overall.

Slightly noisy at night being next to the main road.
