"Very homely and comfortable!"

Very welcoming and homely. Lovely room with tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided. Bathroom was clean. Bed was comfy. A fan was provided due to the heat and I was able to charge my EV.

If you’re on the taller side (6 foot or over) an upstairs room may not be the best option due to the ceiling design, especially in the bathroom by the sink and toilet. However this is not a negative at all, just something to keep in mind when booking.

Lovely clean warm comfortable accommodation. Super breakfast and friendly host. Couldn't ask for more. Booked it again for next year so would fully recommend.

Found it abit difficult to see it off the main road due to darkness, raining and traffic going so fast. Maybe a reflector sign would help locate the entrance? This is only an issue in winter. Just a suggestion!

"Ideal for short stay break to York."

Friendly , well run establishment. Easy for park and ride into York and evenings out dining nearby . Breakfast was delicious and plentyful.

Only drawback ,as a light sleeper, was woken early by the passing traffic on the busy nearby road.

Easy to find. Excellent location. Room was very clean and cosy - maybe just a bit too warm but no problem as we just opened the window. Breakfast was amazing. Lin was a very friendly and helpful host.
