The perfect location for travellers who enjoy having the option to escape the crowds after having explored the delights of Bologna all day. You are only a fifteen-minute walk from the center of the city, and there are some terrific restaurants (especially Osteria Della Lanterna) just a few minutes from the B&B. Your spacious room is one of four down the hall from the entrance to the flat where your hosts live. They are not only sweetly hospitable, but superbly well organized, which makes you a happy guest. Of course your room is pretty, peaceful and very clean. Breakfast is self-serve, generous and available on your schedule. Good coffee, and a variety of fresh fruit! Overall, my stay was a great combination of privacy and support. At check-in, I was given a map and a small, reliable Bologna guidebook in my own language, and more restaurant recommendations are at hand. I enjoyed reading in my comfortable chair. The room is well-lit and airy. Even in October you can keep the windows open and be comfortable. Although your hosts will arrange a cab for you between here and the train station, it is an easy walk, thanks to the terrazzo floors under the famous arcades. I stayed here five nights, and I would be happy to return. In fact, I wish to return and chat with Imma again.

Imma is so friendly. She gave us a map which got us out if our phones and looking around. And a converter specially for Italy saved us. Excellent wifi. A breakfast room always open and beautiful rooms with comfortable bed. And a welcoming spirit.

Location was perfect--just a few minute walk from old town in a quiet neighborhood. The always-open breakfast room was also a nice feature. We could just walk down the hall at any time for a fresh croissant, coffee, tea, cereal or yogurt. Imma was very helpful in recommending local restaurants, and in booking us an early-morning taxi. I would definitely return to Residenzia Rubbiani.

Handy location to the beautiful Old Town, able to unload bags and then 150 metres to public parking.
