"it’s the best place I’ve stayed in Halifax so far"

I had a wonderful stay. The location is excellent and easily accessible, with the added bonus of convenient parking. The place was very clean, cosy, and had a lovely homely feel that made it easy to relax and feel comfortable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying here and would happily return in the future.

Owners were really friendly and attentive. The property is cosy. Quality breakfast. Staff went the extra mile to clean our room, offered an upgrade and then set up newly wed decorations once they found out we were staying for our wedding.

"A lovely and peaceful time."

What a beautiful and peaceful property. My stay was absolutely perfect. They have such a wonderful reputation that when my phone died while I was out exploring the taxi company knew exactly where I was heading just by the name of the property. The garden was perfect to sit and meditate in even with the rain. A traditional English breakfast with a stunning view after a good nights rest was the perfect way to start the day before a peaceful walk to Shibden Hall.
